Barbara Deberry was born and raised in Michigan. she earner a fine arts degree from Michigan State University. After graduating, she moved to Tennessee in 1971. Barbara has a lifelong love of all things fabric. She learned to make books during the pandemic. It was instant obsession and another way to use fabric in making book covers. Barbara learned Eco-dying from two talented teachers. These naturally dyed botanical images proved perfect for both book covers as well as sewn designs.
