Private Pottery Wheel Date
Schedule your Private Pottery Wheel Event with us for a very memorable experience and we will make it very special for you! No experience is necessary. This is not limited to couples, and can also be friends or family. The Private Wheel Events get larger amounts of clay than our group events, an additional large bonus piece that you create together, private instructor one-on-one, your choice of music vs our playlist, numerous pictures with your cell phone and a video with a second phone.
Everything will be set up for you when you arrive to our lovely studio. Enjoy sipping on your wine while you watch the demonstration of how to throw bowls and cylinder forms on the pottery wheel and then, you are ready to move over to your pottery wheels where the clay has been pre-centered for you before you arrive.
We use your phone to take numerous pictures for you throughout your pottery wheel experience. We have a great playlist of songs for the occasion, or we can stream your favorite genre of music, or your favorite artist. You have your own private instructor there to guide and assist you.
After you both have created 3 pieces “each” on the wheel, it will be time to create a large piece together. This is very special moment so be sure to bring a second phone along, and we will capture a personal video for you.
Finally, you will choose stoneware glaze colors for the 7 pieces total that you have made. Please allow us 30 days to get the pieces through the process of 2 kiln firings and glazing, and then they will be ready to pick up.
Private Pottery Wheel Date Events get a one-on-one experience, larger pieces of clay, and a private instructor throughout the 2 hour event. Our guests that are 21 years and older are welcome to bring along your favorite wine or beverage.

Pottery Wheel Date Group Events
We release dates for our Pottery Wheel Date Events through our online reservation system calendar and we always release several dates around Valentine’s week, so be ready to book the best date ever! And it doesn’t have to be a date, because it is fabulous for friends and family! Contact us about scheduling your own private group of 12 people or 6 couples, which is great for birthday parties, corporate events and bachelorette parties.
Everyone will have their own pottery wheel to use during the event, and no experience is necessary. We will have everything set up before your arrival. We begin with a demonstration and then the fun begins as everyone starts throwing their creations on the wheel and the studio fills with laughter! We play great music to set the mood and it is all so much fun!! We take pictures for our guests with their phones a couple times during the 2 hour event. Remember the movie, Ghost with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore on the pottery wheel? Yes, we do that too!
After you have completed your 3 pieces each (6 per couple), then you choose from a selection of stoneware glazes. Your creations will be ready to pick up in approximate 30 days.
