Private Pottery Wheel "Date Night"

Schedule your Private Pottery Wheel Date Night with us for a very memorable experience and we will make it very special for you! No pottery experience is necessary. This is not limited to couples, and can also be friends or family. The Private Wheel Events get larger amounts of clay than our group events, an additional large bonus piece that you create together, private one-on-one instruction, your choice of music (or listen to our playlist,) numerous pictures (taken with your cell phone) and a video (with a second phone.)

 Everything will be set-up for you when you arrive. Enjoy sipping your wine while you watch the demonstration of how to throw bowls and cylinder forms on the pottery wheel. Then, you are ready to move over to your pottery wheels where the clay has been pre-centered for you.

We use your phone to take numerous pictures for you throughout your pottery wheel experience. We have a great playlist of songs for the occasion, or we can stream your favorite genre of music, or your favorite artist. You have your own private instructor there to guide and assist you.

After you both have created 3 pieces each on the wheel, it will be time to create a large piece together. This is very special moment so be sure to bring a second phone along, and we will capture a personal video for you.

Finally, you will choose stoneware glaze colors for the 7 pieces (total) that you have made. Please allow us 30 days to get the pieces through the process of 2 kiln firings and glazing, and then they will be ready to pick up!

Private Pottery Wheel "Date Nights" include larger pieces of clay, and one-on-one instruction throughout the 2-hour event. Guests that are 21-years and older are welcome to bring their favorite wine or beverage.

Group Pottery Wheel "Date Night"

We post schedules for our Pottery Wheel "Date Night" Events on our web calendar and always release several openings during the week of Valentine’s Day, so be ready to book the best date ever! (It actually doesn’t have to be a date, because it is fabulous for friends and family as well!) Contact us about scheduling your own (private) group of 12 people (6 couples,) which is great for birthday parties, corporate events and bachelorette parties.

Everyone will have their own pottery wheel to use. No pottery experience is necessary. The studio will be set-up before you arrive. The event begins with a demonstration from a qualified instructor and then the fun begins as everyone starts throwing their creations on the wheel and the studio fills with laughter! We play great music to set the mood and it is all so much fun! We take pictures for our guests with their phones during the 2 hour event. Remember the scene from the movie, "Ghost" with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore on the pottery wheel? Yes, we do that too!  

After you have completed your 3 pieces each (6 per couple), then you choose from a selection of stoneware glazes. Your finished creations will be ready to pick up in approximately 30 days.
