Parker Weldon’s professional life is embodied by the intersection of engineering principles and artistic creation. As Operations Manager at Ben & Lael, Inc., he applies a foundation of technical mastery to ensure the studio's artistry is supported by sustainable, efficient, and innovative systems. Behind every finely crafted work of art lies a foundation of thoughtful design and precise execution, and for Parker, that balance between creativity and engineering is where his passion thrives. He earned his Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where he discovered a passion for solving complex problems through thoughtful design and purposeful innovation.

He directly leverages his background to design and implement custom tools and streamlined systems that enhance the studio's workflow and efficiency. Key technical contributions include constructing the studio’s massive 10-foot steel enameling tables, providing the specialized infrastructure required for large-scale enamel works. In addition to managing Ben & Lael, Inc., Parker is also a talented copper artist and metals teacher, specializing in crafting large copper vases with unique patinas and assisting with teaching numerous metals classes around the country for Ben & Lael, Inc.

Based in Nashville with his wife, Isabel Weldon (Creative Director and daughter of the founders), Parker is the analytical backbone of the studio. He oversees the financial, logistical, and operational facets of Ben & Lael, Inc. His leadership blends systematic insights with an appreciation for the artistry that has defined Ben & Lael, Inc. since its inception. Guided by the principle, “Be kind to yourself and extend that kindness to others - growth and success start with self-compassion,” Parker approaches each challenge with empathy and intention.

A native of Rochester, New York, he balances his love of engineering with creativity in other forms, remaining an avid guitarist, reader, and lifelong learner who enjoys exploring new ideas and cuisines. As the studio continues to flourish, he is dedicated to forging a strong and sustainable foundation, one that allows each creation to carry forward what Ben & Lael, Inc. embodies: a meaningful story, a legacy, and an heirloom to be treasured and shared for every generation.
